Emerging Markets Dialogues: Geopolitics and its Impact on Indian currency and bond markets

In this edition of the Emerging Markets Dialogues, we are joined by Ananth Narayan, Former Whole Time Member at SEBI, for a conversation on how geopolitics is shaping the landscape for Indian currency and bond markets. Ananth brings over two and a half decades of experience in banking and financial markets to this discussion, along with deep regulatory insight from his time at SEBI, where he oversaw market intermediary regulation, surveillance, and economic policy analysis.

As global trade and capital flows are being reshaped by geopolitical shifts, Indian financial markets face new pressures and uncertainties. How are these forces transmitted into the rupee and the bond market? What does this mean for monetary policy, market stability, and India's integration with global capital.

The event will be held in a hybrid format; however, in-person attendance is strongly encouraged to participate in the discussion. Registration is mandatory.
