How institutions lend - credit, security, collections, recovery, by Harsh Vardhan

When banks or non banks institutions lend money to their borrowers, they expose themselves to credit risk – the risk that the borrower may default on the loan repayment.  Banks use many instruments to mitigate this risk.  Such mitigation results in banks demanding various types of security for the loan to be provided by the borrower.  It also created a wide array of legal documentation.

In this talk, Harsh shall talk about the various types and levels of credit risk for lenders and the methods used by them to mitigate the risk and resulting legal mechanisms.
